Nobuo Shigemitsu CEO

Nobuo Shigemitsu is the CEO of S&techs Group of Companies, responsible for all activities in the Asia Region. He is also a registered Architect in Japan specialising in architecture and interiors. Prior to setting up S&techs (Hong Kong) Limited he enjoyed a successful career with Shimizu in Hong Kong.

In 2000, Nobuo established S&techs in Hong Kong specialising in providing ConstructionManagement and Construction Services to International Clients. Since 2000, the company has grown to nine offices in the Asia region with over 300 professionals.

Nobuo brings multiple years of experience in the Asia Region including 15 years managing a full service Construction Company both locally in Hong Kong and throughout the Asia Region, and 25 years managing divisions of construction firms.

Mike Kavanagh COO

Mike Kavanagh is the Chief Operating Officer and a co-owner of S&techs, serving on the board since the company’s inception in 2000.

A Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Mike brings multiple years of experience from various senior managerial roles, both with S&techs and previously with The StructureTone Organization. His extensive international background includes leading projects and teams across the United States, Europe, and the APAC region.

A hands-on professional, Mike is deeply engaged in operations and readily provides his expertise to our clients, consultants, and project teams. He remains consistently accessible to ensure the highest standards of delivery and client satisfation.

Hidehiko Esaka has vast experience leading the design and project management of projects in the Retail, Banking, Hospitality and Commercial Sectors in Hong Kong, Japan, China and throughout the Asia Region.

His focus in recent years has been serving and developing our Japanese Client base in the Region and his successful delivery of projects under his responsibility has led to multiple repeat projects for satisfied clients.

He brings a unique design and project management experience to his Team and Clients.

With over 15 years in various management roles on construction projects in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, Glen has acquired a rich and diverse international experience, which he brings to the S&Techs team in the role of General Manager in Singapore.

With a vision of continual improvement and market leadership, Glen oversees business activities and the delivery of projects to ensure our clients satisfaction.

Glen holds degrees in Construction Management and Construction Law, and actively participates in industry charities & organisations.

Greg is a licensed Architect in both the UK and Hong Kong, with professional experience in the UK, USA, Europe and Asia. In 2004, he co-founded One Space, an interdisciplinary design firm providing fully-integrated architecture and technology design solutions for commercial spaces. Following S&tech’s majority stakeholding in One Space in 2024, Greg now leads our newly formed Singapore Design Unit. He is also the Managing Director of One Space, bringing the firm’s well-reputed design expertise to S&techs across the region.

Throughout his career, Greg has designed numerous high-profile projects globally, including as Principal Architect of Hong Kong Station, a multi-platform rail terminus located at the heart of Hong Kong’s Central Business District. He was also Co-Founder and Director of Hong Kong University's MIDM Programme, Asia's first master's degree in interdisciplinary creativity. Greg applies a rigorous design methodology to all of our projects, irrespective of scale, reflecting his advocacy for interdisciplinary collaboration honed through his urban-scale infrastructure projects.

Nell is a member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM) and has extensive Construction and Project Management experience gained over 30 years in the industry primarily in the APAC Region including Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam and Thailand. Neil's experience has encompassed various sectors including Commercial, Hotel & Hospitality, Retail, High Technology, Education, Sports and Food & Beverage.

Jeffrey Liu is the Regional Project Executive responsible for the delivery of the Regional Accounts under his remit.

He has a civil engineering educational background with multiple years of experience in Mainland China and Singapore.

Jeffrey started his career with S&techs in 2009 as a Senior Project Manager in our Shanghai office having responsibility for project operations. Today Jeffrey is responsible for project delivery in Singapore.

As Deputy General Manager of S&techs Suzhou, Xu Yuan Jia is responsible for the successful delivery of all projects secured by S&techs Suzhou throughout Mainland China. The success of his projects are measured in terms of the best design, cost control and efficient and effective site management.

Having almost 30 years experience in the construction industry, he has been entrenched in the whole process management of engineering projects. His familiarity with Chinese and Japanese requirements and his effective communication with Government Agencies and Clients has ensured the success of each and every project and has led to multiple repeat assignments from Clients in the Region.

Since joining S&techs in 2003, he has served as Electromechanical Manager, Project Manager and is now Deputy General Manager of S&techs Suzhou.

Graham is a Chartered Engineer bringing 30 years of experience and a demonstrable record of success in hyper-scale data center delivery. As MC Director, he is responsible for infusing projects with design and construction expertise from concept to completion.

Graham also has extensive experience delivering Managed Data Centers, Collocate Facilities, and Enterprise Data Centers, overseeing projects from business case development to due diligence, design, construction, fit-out, T&C, handover and beyond.

As a proficient leader, Graham motives diverse teams, navigates cultural nuances, and ensures compliance across multiple jurisdictions. He has successfully delivered DC projects throughout the entire APAC region.

Tevas is a seasoned Director having multiple years of experience in the construction industry in Hong Kong. Tevas has experience managing and coordinating complex and demanding projects in various sectors including Commercial, Luxury Residential and Retail.

Tevas has risen through the ranks starting as a Project Engineer and taking on more responsibility as Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Project Director and currently as Director in Hong Kong.

Eddie is a multi-faceted Project Director having qualifications in Interior Architecture, Project Management and Workplace Health & Safety. Having both design and delivery experience, he has a keen eye for detail and quality. He brings a wealth of experience gained over 20 years in Australia, Malaysia and Singapore. His experience also spans multiple sectors having successfully delivered Commercial Offices, Retail, Hospitality, and Food & Beverage fit-out projects.

Eddie is a keen Badminton enthusiast playing the sport regularly.

Franky has worked with S&techs since its formation in 2000. Franky started his career with S&techs initially as a Site Manager, then Construction Manager, Project Manager and today is a Project Director overseeing S&techs Hong Kong's most complex interior fit-out projects. Franky is a "hands-on" Project Director, paying close attention to detail and works closely with his Team and the Client & Project Consultants to ensure the success of each and every project.

As MEP Project Director, Ray leads S&techs Hong Kong MEP Services Division. Ray has extensive experience gained over many years in the industry in Hong Kong leading teams for various types of MEP installations including for Banking and Finance, Infrastructure Upgrades, Data Centers, Retail, Hotel & Hospitality and F & B.
Ray holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Energy Systems Engineering as well as a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Hong Kong.
In addition Ray holds membership of a number of professional bodies including MIET and MHKIE.

Having gained all her experience in the Design and Construction Industry, and managing key accounts for prestigious Clients such as JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, AIA, and Morgan Stanley, Nicole recognises the unique requirements that Clients expect from S&techs as she represents the firm in the marketplace.

He ensures that issues get resolved by bringing all parties together to ensure effective resolution. Conor hails from Ireland and has called Hong Kong home since 2010. Conor is active in a number of different organisations & industry events.

Starting as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in 2010, today CK is a Commercial Manager with S&techs. CK's experience spans from working in professional practice to main contractor. He is involved from the front end, leading the tendering & estimating, Value Engineering, through to Procurement and Cost Management/ Control and Final Account/ Close Out. He specialises in interior Fit-Out/ Refurbishment across multiple sectors. He is the lead Cost Manager for S&techs on a major framework agreement account. CK is a Hong Kong national and a seasoned swimmer and has taken part in major swimming events both in Hong Kong and Japan. He is actively involved in sports training for children.

Starting as an Assistant Site Quantity Surveyor in 1989, Diners has risen to the position of Senior Cost Manager with S&techs, where he has been a key team member for many years. Diners specialty is in fit-out and renovation projects in multiple different sectors of the industry including Commercial Offices, Law Firms, Retail, Hotel & Hospitality, Luxury Residential, and F & B. He is actively involved at the front end in Tendering & Estimating, Budget Preparation, Value Engineering and Procurement. During construction he oversees Project Cost Management & Control, and Final Account Close Out. Diners is a Hong Kong native and an avid skier.

Matt possesses over thirteen years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Procurement. Having obtained his Master's Degree in Quantity Surveying from Birmingham City University, he has been regularly tasked with strategic negotiation of Sub- Contractors and Vendors Pricing and Contracts as well as supporting the Senior Cost Management Team in Estimating and Post Contract activities. His experience has included formulating purchasing guidelines, providing Value Engineering support, and communicating to Senior Management and Directors about the Commercial status of projects.

Since starting his career in 2000, Jimmy has gained vast experience as a Mechanical Engineer and Quantity Surveyor specialising in Building Services, Jimmy brings a wealth of experience to his projects both in the front end, while tendering and estimating, through to purchasing and cost management to final account. He has been a key team member on multiple types of complex projects ranging from airport structures to Data Centres, Clean Room facilities, Commercial fit-outs, Renovation projects, and Hospitality projects. He has worked in multiple Asia locations as well as the Middle East. Jimmy hails from The Philippines and has called Hong Kong home since 2005.

Yuki Shigemitsu is the representative of REMOC inc., an IT group company of S&techs, actively promoting various on-site digital transformation (DX) initiatives. With a background in construction site management, he experienced firsthand the severe labor shortage in the construction industry. This prompted him to strongly recognize the need for on-site digitization, leading to the establishment of REMOC Inc. in 2020. The company specializes in DX solutions focused on safety and environmental management at worksites. Currently, REMOC Inc. develops AI modules, software, and hardware to address challenges at the field level. In addition to serving S&techs’ project sites, the company also provides solutions for a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, food services, and retail. REMOC positions itself as an innovation partner, co-creating practical solutions to on-site challenges.

With 20+ years of solid experience in Mechanical and Electrical, Sing is responsible for mechanical, electrical, security, IT, plumbing, and fire protection elements of his projects from award through pre-construction, construction and post construction. Sing is a hands-on professional who involves himself in the detail required to compile a complete set of combined services drawings through to As-Builts and project close out documentation. He will trouble shoot issues as they arise across all MEP trades and act as liaison with the Client IT staff and appointed Consultants.

Finnick leads S&techs Health & Safety Team hands on ensuring S&techs sites one adhering to all Health & Safety codes, standards and protocols. He is certified in Safety Auditing, in Environmental Management for Construction, and in Occupational Safety & Health. Finnick is a first aider, and a T1 Technically Competent Person.
