The Mandarin Oriental Residence

S&techs was engaged as Management Contractor for the complete renovation of the Client’s Corporate Residence at Shek O, Hong Kong.

Close collaboration was required between S&techs and the Client and the Client Architect/Project Manager – Wilkinson & Cilley Ltd as well as other appointed consultants on the project.

The renovation works entailed that the building was fully vacated throughout the construction period.
A new conservatory was constructed together with all associated glazing/architectural & services works.
All the building interiors were stripped of their original finishes and new floor, wall and ceiling finishes were installed. New external windows and doors were installed throughout including plasterwork, brickwork re-pointing & re-painting of the exterior facade.
New built-in millwork was provided in the kitchen/pantry, living room, study & bathrooms to a high standard of finish.

Externally new paving and railings as well as exterior lighting was installed.
